01Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BioPaw app and website, operated by Pawpaws Group in Dubai, UAE. By creating an account or using BioPaw, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use BioPaw.

02What BioPaw does

BioPaw helps pet owners responsibly dispose of pet waste through a network of smart bins, log drop-offs, earn rewards, and track their environmental impact. We also provide tools for communities and operators to run and report on the program.

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but BioPaw is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Bin locations, availability, and impact figures are provided in good faith and may change.

03Your account

• You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Tell us promptly at support@pawpawsapp.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or are used unlawfully.

04Acceptable use

When using BioPaw, you agree not to:

• Misuse the bins, tamper with equipment, or dispose of anything other than pet waste in BioPaw bins.
• Submit false drop-offs or manipulate the rewards system.
• Attempt to access, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service or its security.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of UAE law.

05Subscriptions & payments

BioPaw offers paid plans, currently Basic at AED 29/month and Premium at AED 59/month. By subscribing you authorise us, through our payment partner, to charge the applicable fee.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Prices may change with reasonable advance notice; changes won't affect the period you've already paid for.
• Except where required by UAE consumer law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

06Rewards & points

Paw points and rewards are a feature of the service, not currency, and have no cash value. We may adjust how points are earned or redeemed, and may reverse points that were earned in error or through misuse. Rewards are subject to availability and any partner terms shown at redemption.

07Intellectual property

BioPaw, the BioPaw and Pawpaws logos, the design system, and all related content are owned by Pawpaws Group and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from the service without our written permission.

08Community partners

If you use BioPaw through a community or operator partnership, additional terms from that partner may apply to bin access and on-site facilities. Aggregated, anonymised participation data may be shared with the partner as described in our Privacy Policy.

09Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Pawpaws Group is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10Suspension & termination

You may stop using BioPaw and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the service, or where required by law. On termination, the sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

11Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice in the app. Continuing to use BioPaw after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
